Academic libraries and repertoires

1. Internet Archive

Free digital library with access to ancient texts, liturgical manuals, hagiographic treatises and historical guides. Very useful for consulting ancient versions of the Liber de apparitione sancti Michaelis and other Michaelic documents.

2. Gallica - Bibliothèque nationale de France

Extensive digital collection with medieval French manuscripts, including codices related to Mont-Saint-Michel.

3. Italian Digital Library (BDI)

National portal for the digitisation of the Italian bibliographic heritage. Search by author, place, subject.

4. Europeana Collections

Digital library and museum of Europe. Presents iconographic sources, texts, miniatures related to the Archangel Michael and European shrines.

1. Vatican Apostolic Library - Digital Vatican Library
