Main Micael shrines

1. Sanctuary of St Michael Archangel - Monte Sant'Angelo (FG)

Official site of the rock sanctuary, heart of the Micaelic cult in the West. Contains sections on: history, apparitions, liturgy, pilgrimages, timetables, events. Includes virtual tour and possibility of booking masses or group accommodation.

2. Sacra di San Michele - Avigliana (TO)

Abbey symbol of Piedmont, run by the Rosminian community. It offers information on celebrations, spirituality, hiking routes and the 'Stairway of the Dead'.

3. Skellig Michael - Ireland's Sacred Rock

Site maintained by the Irish Heritage Service. Contains information on the monastic site and the visit (by boat only), with links to UNESCO.
